“We are delighted to have been awarded the Best Project Sustainability Award at the Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Awards 2024 for the Cinnamon Rainforest Restoration Project! This recognition goes beyond the accolade, it is a demonstration of our commitment to protecting Sri Lanka’s natural heritage. In partnership with,  Ruk Rakaganno (Tree Society of Sri Lanka), the Forest Department of Sri Lanka, and Deutsche Bank this pioneering initiative is restoring 59 acres of degraded land in the buffer zone of the Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The project is also recognized by @1t.org, a global platform led by the World Economic Forum to support the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners and stakeholders, including our dedicated in house teams for their collaboration and dedication. This accolade is a shared achievement that underscores the power of collective effort.”
